Taylor and Ethan’s Wedding | Northridge Inn and Resort

I am so excited to share this absolutely gorgeous wedding that I photographed in July of 2021 at Northridge Inn and Resort in Sundridge, ON. I am so honoured to photograph this day for so many reasons. I have known Taylor and her family for years. Her mom and I are super good friends. When she asked if I would photograph Taylor and Ethan’s wedding, that was an immediate YES from me. Every single moment of this trip was beautiful and positive. We stayed in the most gorgeous room that overlooked the beautiful lake Benard. This lake was so unbelievably calm. We had access to paddle boards and canoes etc. I got up early in the morning the day of the wedding and went out on the lake in the paddle board. That was the best way to start my day.

The girls got ready with Glitz galz mobile hair and makeup wwww.theglitzgalz.com You can find her on instagram under @glitzgalz Each of Taylor’s bridesmaids and her maid of honour were so sweet. Taylor’s dress was the perfect fabric. It was so flattering on her. The detailing of the lace and the way it flowed as she walked was a dream to photograph. She was such a gorgeous bride. Ethan looked incredibly handsome. There were hints of Scottish details in their wedding. It was really sweet.

Mahmoud was my second shooter for this wedding. I absolutely love traveling and working with him. We are best friends, husband and wife, and the best work partners. We have so much fun together. He was able to capture photos of the men as they got ready, as I was concentrating on the girls.

This was a HOT wedding day. The sun was brightly shining. It was a true reflection of how each guest felt that day, bright and happy. I loved that I was able to take my time taking photos of Taylor and Ethan after the beautiful dockside ceremony. The dock they got married on was specifically designed for weddings. It was all white with a gorgeous arch garland. Taylor hand-made all the bouquets and boutonnieres herself. They were made of lavender and eucalyptus. The aroma of these florals was heavenly. I realized how much I had in common with Taylor after seeing all the details of her day. There was a continuous theme of lavender and eucalyptus in all the details of their day.

I took an abundance of bridal party photos, family photos, scenic photos, and detail shots throughout the day. My favourite part was taking Taylor and Ethan around during sunset time. I asked if they could go barefoot in the sand and walk in the water hand in hand. They were down for anything. I am SO proud of these images and I will cherish them forever.

A special thank you to Penny and Andy for being so hospitable to Mahmoud and I. You guys have been so supportive. Thank you for trusting me to capture these images. I am truly thankful.
