Laura and Mike | Engagement

This photo shoot is SO cute! I was so happy to meet Laura and Mike at the gorgeous lakefront in Newcastle, ON. Their excitement for engagement photos was really sweet. You can tell right away how much love they have for each other. I’ve known Laura for a while now and she’s one of the most loving and caring people I have ever met. She and Mike both have such much gratitude for even the smallest things in life. Laura is so sweet. I always witness her saying “thank you” and taking the time to show gratitude to each person she’s around. It’s really beautiful to see. I had the opportunity to go on a Yoga retreat and she was there with me and totally made my retreat so fun. She’s always full of laughter. She and Mike are a perfect match for each other. They just fit so perfectly together. They are both into health & wellness and motivate each other to be the best versions of themselves.

This photoshoot day was probably one of the most freezing days last winter. That, plus the wind chill near the lake was almost unbearable. But, Laura was a great sport in her gorgeous pink flowy dress with bare legs lol. They did SO well on this shoot. I absolutely love these images. I would never know how cold they were. I had to take them away from the lake for a while and go back to it because we were going to get frostbite. I love the colours they choose for this shoot. The pink dress and Mike’s neutral colour pants and top were absolutely perfect. I loved how playful they were and how Laura’s gorgeous hair blew in the wind. I also love their little dog. The images look like a romance novel cover. They were a real pleasure to photograph. Laura & Mike recently got married this summer! Congratulations to both of them! I’m so blessed I was able to capture this engagement shoot!
