At home family photoshoot with Baby Brayden

This beautiful family has a very special place in my heart. I have photographed Madie & Jordan throughout very special stages in their relationship. I was so excited when they asked me to photograph their new one! Brayden was sooo cute just like his big brother Garrett.

My blog posts are so overdue because I have been slowly getting the hang of this blogging business, but it allows me to almost go back in time and revisit my wonderful photos with such wonderful people!

Coming to a family home is always an honour. I truly believe that doing an at home photo shoot is a raw and authentic experience. As a photographer, making sure my clients are as comfortable as possible with little ones is a huge priority. This shoot was done just before an ice storm hit, and I’m so glad they were inside staying warm and cosy!

Capturing the little faces of a newborn is one of the most fun things to do. Every single frame has a different expression. Brayden’s cute expressions were ever changing as he watched his big brother Garrett play in front of him. Garrett’s golden locks are just about the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. He’s such a sweetheart of a boy! He enjoyed playing with his trucks during the shoot. Parents Madie & Jordan are the most down to earth people I’ve ever met. They are always so sweet and kind and their kids totally resemble them.

I wanted to share a few images I took in their home using natural light. These natural photos are a collection to be cherished forever. Sometimes the best photos are within your own home! The home you grow up in, make daily memories & start your family in.
